Make a Lasting Impact — Set Up a Recurring Donation. Ensure your support continues effortlessly by setting up a recurring monthly gift. Visit our online donation page, select “Monthly”, and complete the form to establish automatic contributions each month. Your ongoing generosity helps achieve our mission and create lasting change.

Checks can be made payable to: Safe Parking LA. You can send it to our secure mailing address: PO Box 17157, Los Angeles, CA 90017.

Use your tax-deductible donor-advised fund (DAF) to make a gift to Safe Parking LA. Typically, donors will visit their external DAF portal and request that their custodian issue us a grant (Legal Name: Safe Parking LA, Federal Tax Identification Number: 87-3148967). Your administrator will typically mail the check to the primary address they have on file for Safe Parking LA, or your administrator may send us the funds electronically. Either way, please make us aware of this forthcoming gift, so that we can ensure that it is properly allocated and designated.

Email Director of Development, Carmela Carreño, at carmelac@safeparkingla.org with the following information:

1. Name of DAF administrator
2. Amount of the forthcoming check
3. Date of distribution request

Support our mission through In-Kind donations. Physical donations are a meaningful way to contribute essential items that directly support our participants and programs. Please review our In-Kind Donation List to learn which items we currently accept, and which we’re unable to receive, to ensure your contribution makes the greatest impact. To make a donation in honor or in memory of someone, visit our online donation page. Complete the top section as usual, then under Gift Designation, click the blue “Add a Dedication” button. Fill out the dedication details and continue completing the form to finalize your gift.

Double your impact through employer matching gifts. Many companies offer programs that match their employees’ charitable contributions. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply the impact of your support for Safe Parking LA. Each company has its own procedures for requesting a matching gift, and eligibility criteria may vary. Some employers also extend matching opportunities to spouses, retirees, and board members.

Check with your employer’s HR or community engagement department to see if your gift qualifies for a match, it’s an easy way to make your generosity go even further.
