Becky Gross is a Financial Development Officer at the Los Angeles Housing Department, where she oversees funding and contracts for affordable housing development, and advances programs that expand access to housing opportunities across the City. She also supports special initiatives including Project Homekey and Affordable Housing Sustainable Communities.
Becky is deeply committed to advancing equity and driving systems-level change to address the root causes of housing insecurity. Previously, she served in Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Office, where she designed and launched the LA ADU Accelerator Program, a first-of-its-kind pilot pairing housing-insecure older adults with homeowners renting their ADUs at affordable rates. Her career has also included roles at the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, A Sense of Home, and the California Community Foundation, where she developed and implemented programs testing innovative approaches to housing and community development.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Southern California.
