RESEDA – On January 12, 2023, Councilmember Bob Blumenfeld hosted a breakfast for Safe Parking LA’s clients at his District Office in Reseda, which has also served as a Safe Parking location for nearly five years.

“I appreciate that the Councilmember took the time to be with us,” said Ernesto Pompa. In addition to providing each person an opportunity to shre their story, participants were connected to housing placements with the help of LAHSA’s Outreach & Engagement Team who conducted intake at the event.

“I was happy to hear more folks have been matched for permanent housing. Listening to their stories helps guide me to find more solutions to address homelessness,” said Councilmember Blumenfeld.

The meetings at the Councilmember’s office will continue throughout the year. We extend our thanks to our friends at SimplyHelp Foundation for providing large bundles of donated items for all attendees.
